Kathleen “KB” Bieke, Children’s Ministry Director

Kathleen Bieke, “KB” brought several years of recent student ministry experience working with high school youth when she relocated to Tallahasse from the Detroit area in 2016. Her sentiments about Michigan are that it is a beautiful place to visit…in the summer! She feels that she has come home and is in love with everything “Tally.”

Working with different aged children during the course of her life, her passion is that children are taught the Bible in a fun and foundationally sound age-appropriate way. KB believes that every person is valuable and loved by God and demonstrating this through both actions and teaching is vital to the nurturing of a child’s spiritual growth. She is very happy about working with young children again as their honest thought processes and questions are refreshing, sometimes funny, and always welcome. How can you really learn if you can’t ask questions, right?

She is a proud mom of two grown sons, Matt and Chris, who live in Detroit and Aspen, respectively; also known as places you won’t find her in the winter!
